Transcyclopedia:About

From Transcyclopedia

TransLife.net's Transcyclopedia

Originally this section was known as Transgender 101 and was not in a wiki format. It had been an adapted research paper on gender and transgender. Over time, however, it was suggested that calling it Transgender 101 was not a good name for the section since it went beyond the 101 level of understanding. In fact, it went well beyond it. Thus, the name Transcyclopedia was adopted.

The same resources and information are still here from the original Transgender 101, but now are free to be added to by others. This allows people to make TransLife.net into an even better resource for people to grasp the concept of gender and even further to understand transgender. Jessica only can explain things in a way that she thinks and comprehends, so opening it up to other people can make a huge difference.

You are welcome to make use of these resources in any way you like. Please cite accordingly if used for research papers. The sources are listed on the Sources page. If you are interested in submitting, feel free to contact Jessica to get an account. We would leave registration open, but we want to make sure the site content remains high quality. Thanks a lot for visiting.
