     Most people are very unaware that discrimination still runs rampant in our society. Not everyone is treated with the same respect others are simply because they look different. We make our society out to be above that, but in many respects, we aren't and may never be. Very few protections are offered to transgendered people in aspects ranging from jobs to inheritance to health insurance.
